I won't bore you all with details too much.... just thought I'd show you all my baby.
I have two machines in the house (3 if you count the Numatic carpet cleaner) - DC39 Animal and the Sebo. I tend to use the Dyson for day to day use as I find it easier given our wide range of floor coverings (with it being a cylinder) however deep down the Sebo will always be my favourite. Although I try my hardest to keep my machines looking like new, IF for example the side of the Dyson's Triggerhead was to get noticeably scuffed it wouldn't be the end of the world.... the Sebo on the other hand... I think I'd cry!

Anywayyy.... Bought it on 18/11/2012 from Currys so it's well over a year old now!
It started off as the only dry use machine in the house and was used daily for a good few months. Now it just gets used every week or so to give the carpets a good going over as an alternative to the Dyson.

They have two of those exact same cleaners here. They are about 18 months old and look consistent with the use that two machines would get that have been used 5-days a weeks on areas as vast as all the corridors and common rooms we have.

Incidentally, there are a couple of Numatic cleaners kicking around as well. I notice one of our domestic staff has discovered that the end of the Sebo hose fits rather nicely over the Numatic wand. She uses the Numatic tools on the Sebo to clean the hard floors.

I tend to find the on board hose is long enough for most household jobs.

On the stairs I tend to just take the machine with me as I work my way up rather than mess about hunting for the extension hose.
The extension hose only really gets used if I'm going to use the machine on all the hard flooring as a cylinder and also on the rare occasions I use it out on the cars as I find it helps prevent the machine wanting to tip over, thus avoiding the risk of damaging the car bodywork

Nice looking SEBO X4 Pet matt8808, your keeping it in great condition. Thanks for posting though great pictures of your SEBO X4 Pet too.

I tend to do that with my SEBO Felix Classic, take it up the stairs as I work my way up or down. I don't even sometimes both to take the power head off!

I've got a bit of wear on the base plate on the power head too! Least its not all plastic!

I wouldn't mind getting a SEBO X4!
