Sebo X4 Difficult to Push

Personally, I favor the C3.1 over the D4 especially with the old ET-C powerhead equipped.
Absolutely ! The C3.1, especially the later models with the more powerful motor, are still the nicest Sebo canisters to use. On mine I replaced the original hose with their new 8 foot long C/K hose that has an off-on switch for the power nozzle and the wand connection integrated into the hose end. I also bought the later all metal telescopic wand. It is one of the nicest to use canister vacuums I have.

I’ve been after a C3.1 for a while, but I’ve seen that their cord reels seem to be problem. I like that they essentially give you everything that their flagship upright (X1 or X4) had at the time. I’m sure that ET C power nozzle was their most durable, since it was used on the versamatics.

ET-Cs and their brother ET-350e's are great power nozzles. No height adjustment but none is really needed.

Further update. The new brush roll has now worn in slightly and the X4 is just as difficult to push as before. When I had the X4 at the dealer to be looked at, the dealer did not think it felt abnormal in use. I’m assuming that this is just how the X series are after some use on a new brush roll. Once the X has had some use and the brush wears slightly, the machine sucks down to the carpets more making it harder to push. I do wonder if the squeegee might be to blame, it appears to have some wear?

I will say that even from the day I opened my X4, it seemed to be tuned more aggressively. I never got the feeling that it was skimming the carpet other than a brand new brush roller.
They're definitely easier to push without a squeegee on.
I did test I a bit ago without the sealing strip, and it was a bit easier to push. I find that with a brush roll that has some wear, it really lowers down to the carpets. I don’t believe there is an issue with the servo motor, as it does adjust properly on rugs. I’ve never heard anyone say that these are hard to push.
