The warranty is with your supplier, and they should collect and repair the item. If you don't speak German then I would suggest you type something in simple English and use Google translate to attempt to communicate.
You can contact Sebo Germany (the warranty is two years in Germany) and attempt to have the item rectified. Sebo do not have world wide warranty unlike Miele, Apple or other manufacturers. Your contact is always with the person you purchased the item with and NOT the manufacturer.
If you have already gone through diagnostics ok, otherwise try taking the hose off the machine and turn it on see if it still acts up. If not then you have some form of blockage and the machine is trying to hard and making the motor hot.
If you also take the top of the machine off and look through the two tubes that come up from the base and see if you can see all the way through.
Also of course take the brush off and make sure nothing is tangled up with it or blocking the suction part.
If you do this and it is still acting up then it is an electronics fault with either the board or the motor itself (most likely the board).
The reason the machine is getting hot is that it thinks there is an issue with suction and therefore is trying harder making the motor work harder. I also wouldn't use the machine because you are shortening the life of the motor by making it work harder.
I am having a similar problem with mine I purchased a little while ago, however mine it the check bag light that intermittently comes on and off.
