Repaired a SEBO Felix machine today and just thought I'd take a picture of the motors.

The one on the left is an Ametek made motor which was in the machines up until 2011, the one on the right is a B/S/H made motor, has more 'fins' in the motor housing and is still the current motor they use today.

I really like the Felix machines due to being very versatile in use.

Hi Madaboutsebo,

When you remove the Motor filter under the bag, you should be able to see the Ametek stamp by looking down into the grill. A torch will help :)

Hi blakaeg

Thanks for the tip will take a look to see if I can see the Ametek stamp, I've got to change the bag as it's about full so will take a look and let you know.

Wonder what motors SEBO will use if they are working on Eco models/versions!?

As I have just taken the very full bag out of my SEBO Felix I checked the motor type after removing the pre motor filter and it is an Ametek motor one of the earlier ones as you mentioned above blakaeg. On my Felix Classic I have the GHI Approved 2005 sticker on the main power head!

Think I need a new pre motor filter too!
