now, i paid $4.00 bucks for this, for a antique mall, where prices seem to be always be blown out of proportion I was amazed.
It is a Sunbeam Radiant Control toaster model T35-1. its in really good condition. but i have one question....and this is quite a stupid question.....but i figure this is the place to ask...lol.....so here it goes.....How in the flaming fairy he>?"
do i use it??? Ive always grew up with the kind that have the things on the side that you push down....i know there is someone who can explian this to me....lol....

and they work WELL!
Has to be plugged in first though. They can go wonky occasionally and need adjustment. Here's the website that tells you how

I have one of those somewhere, for about the same price! My Toastmaster Imperial is automatic, had to disconnect it because it would go on by itself. Not good with kitties around.

Jae, I have the same toaster and have had it for a good while. Once in a while I have to drop the bread a couple of times before it goes down, tempermental I guess. I use it every morning, toasts evenly and to a good color. Enjoy!

i have 3 radiant controls, t-20 (top background) t35 (bottom right) atw (bottom left) two have had thier toast cycles properly adjusted (t20/35). one of those was a t-35 i got last summer. they work just fine most times, however if you find the toast rack not going down, or it burns the toast no matter what, they are easily remidied problems thankfully. these machines work amazingly, nice job with a $4 score on one of those jason. i got mine for 17$ on ebay.

The way things were built to LAST not like todays crap. I just got a Hoover 1330 from E-bay from between 1960-67 All Metal Good old Hoover METAL beater bars What a NICE Machine who ever had it before me took VERY GOOD CARE OF IT. Looks and sounds like new. So i am glad it found another good home. i paid 59.99 plus 12oo shipping worth every penny What i like is i think the seller was very far with the price.Doug

We have a Sunbeam radiant control toaster that I bought on Ebay probably a couple years ago after we had gotten fed up with new toasters crapping out. I paid about $30 or so, and I have never looked back. It toasts so evenly and quick, and always comes out the same. MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG IT WHEN YOU ARE DONE USING IT!!!!!! or any toaster for that matter! From the time I was old enough to use a toaster, my Mom has ingrained it into my head that a common cause of fires are toasters left plugged in. I will honestly even unplug toasters at friends' houses, and as soon as I finish using ours, it is unplugged.
I unplug heating machines like toasters and other small appliances while not in use.Not only from fire-but in lightening prone areas-protection from lightening-My area gets alot of it.Small appliances and electronically controlled and electronic appliances can be blown out by lightening.A fellow that used to work with me at the transmitter-watched his house get hit-his computer,stero,radios,and oven,range were blown out.Fortunately his household insurance replaced the lost machines.And he was saying he felt the very strong Static feel in the air and smelled ozone.So-if you are in a storm and feel static and smell ozone-lightening is about to stike near you!GET down QUICK!!

I have the 4-slice, slim design, and a few 2-silce regular ones. The latter is the daily toaster. There is only one model I still need to obtain. It's 'on the list'.

That was the toaster my grandparents had in the 70's. I remember when my grandfather did something to the spring and the toast flew into the air...as a kid I thought it was the funniest thing I ever saw... he said he better fix it before my grandmother saw it...thus there went the fun. Mark D.
