Hi guys, some months ago I told you of the cat in the Electrolux factory, well here's the actual story. I also printed both pages so you could read the other articles, and have a look at Axel L. Wenner-Gren, the man who started Electrolux.

Alex,

Glad to hear that your trip was safe and successful!

Thanks for sharing the article about Sarah. Any idea how long she 'worked' at Electrolux and when she died? I wonder if she was ever as popular as Morris the cat--was she ever featured in ads? Come to think of it, did Electrolux ever produce any TV commercials?

Sarah the cat.

Hi Paul, according to the article Sarah was already there when the top Electrolux executives bought the building from the Dalton Lathe company in 1932, and I doubt if she was a kitten. Since cats live from 10-15 years old, I suspect that she lived till the 1940's.

Some months ago I told you about the get well card John Lucia circulated to the entire club. The year was 1992, and it was after I'd had minor surgery. I'm glad I found it, and am able to share it. Because Electrolux made tank vacuum cleaners, Sarah, fortunately didn't need to be a member of this group.

Hi, Alex,

Thanks for the info. and the funny cartoon! Interesting that Sarah came before Electrolux bought the plant in '32.
