Hi, I have heard the fans in Sanitaires are very easy to break. Is this true? If I was using one, and I picked up a coin on accident would the fan shatter? Thanks!

I have sucked up coins by accident. They can break the fan but sometimes it doesn't. Nver had one break.

They are easy and very cheap to replace though

I put a metal fan in my ZC-880 and I've yet to break it, and I've picked up some pretty bad things before now, but I do have two spare plastic fans just in case...

I think pretty much any dirty-fan vac could suffer if you consistently pick up stones, coins or large screws, it's just down to how lazy the user is...

LOL. Thanks Everyone. Sometimes I am lazy, but I still cant bring myself to sweep up coins. But, I have with a few.
