That black & Orange 4-row is not a true VGIII, it's a 4-row VGII, look at the strips in the picture, they don't have the stiffeners that the VGIII has which causes the problems if used in Eureka or Sanitaire uprights, the link below is a true VGIII, which was only ever made for Eureka Express/Rally cannister PNs as far as I am aware...

I have the 4-row in my Tristar PN, but it has been upgraded with VGIII strips to make it into a PN-Compatible brushroll (aswell as the end cabs being filed away to allow for the extra two brush strips, not done by myself), so it has the stiffeners and more fanned out bristles, the former owner of the tristar tried a similar (maybe even the same) brushroll with VGIII strips in a Sanitaire and it burned out the belts in no time, both Hoover and Eureka...
