I can't tell you any more about the motor, but it does use ST bags.

Well, I did receive a cancellation notice, but I placed the order again. Previously, I paid through Paypal. However, like another club member, I applied for their credit card and paid with it. That gave me an extra $30 off too. Well, this time the order was fulfilled. I just received a shipping notice with tracking information! So after it was all said and done, I paid less than $50 (including shipping) for a brand new Sanitaire upright!

Wow! I just checked the tracking and it was shipped 2 day Priority Mail! Should be here (hopefully) on Saturday!
