Doesn't James Dyson have enough money,

A sue there for Hoover, a sue here for Samsung, a license un-renewed for Fantom, and then the art of being the first person on there block to blow money on the latest cleaner, although the previous model came just months before. Oh, the art of the Dyson.

What cleaner hasn't used this design? compare to the Hoover Elite canister, why isn't Dyson suing over this? That's right, Hoover's already had it's share of suing. anyone coming about with more than 1 cyclone on a cleaner is likely going to receive a sue, look at what happened to the Hoover Vortex in Britain!

Going by looks alone, I think I'd just as soon take the Samsung! (I just hope their vacuums are more durable than their cell phones... I've never had a phone that the screen breaks if you just look at it the wrong way until I got a Samsung...)

The law suits are ridiculous... If Dyson was truly confident that they had the best product, they wouldn't need to display their insecurities by bringing frivolous law suits, they would embrace the competition...

Yes I've tried one, both the 50 and 70 series. They don't seem bad at all, very good suction. They all have a battery powered remote which allows you to turn the machine on and off and all adjust the power level.
It's easy enough to use, although getting access to the pre motor filter is a little awkward. But overall they feel really nicely made, come with a five year guarantee too.
The dust sensor and uv head just seem a bit gimmicky.
