From my experience, I never had a problem with emptying out a cyclonic central vacuum. I just wrap a garbage bag around the bin, dump it, let the dust settle for a bit, then take the bag out and wrap it up. Plastic liners can work, to me I don't necessary need them. If I could, my ideal central vac to have for my next house would be a bagged central vac hooked up to a cyclonic separator like MD or VacuMaid for example. But they're definitely expensive. I'm better off to just get a true cyclonic Vacuflo instead which I certainly wouldn't mind having and could probably end up getting for my next house. I also never had a problem with the filtration on the ClearTrak. Sure it doesn't have many layers but it's a design that's been around for decades and honestly I've seen alot worse from newer modern vacuums that I wouldn't touch. If I didn't had a central vac and if I could only use bagless vacuums, the ClearTrak is the only one I'd ever use that I wouldn't mind having which I actually have three of them myself (one is technically a CMS 1000) and they're one of my all time favorite vacuums.
