Royal upright deodoriser

Hello

I have a Royal 880... can someone advise what type of deodoriser is placed in the slot at the front? Crystals, a tablet? Any recommendations?

Your Choice!

Crystals or tablet, whichever you prefer. Almost any kind of vacuum air freshener will work, just DO NOT use any in a powder form.

Remember buying a Royal upright vacuum from Manassas Vacuum in the mid 90's it has the deodorizer chamber on the top of the floor nozzle.A sample package of deodorizer crystals came with the machine-like the smell-but could not get another package of it.Still have the vacuum.

I have tried Vac Yum scents for vacuum cleaners in my Royal Everlast 8300 scent chamber and they work fantastic. They work even better if you put 2 tablespoons on the floor and vacuum them up. Works great in Kirby's too.

Purex

I use Purex Fabric Softener crystals in every vacuum cleaner. Kirby, Royal, Hoover, etc. Inexpensive and works great!
