I have one of these too if I'm thinking of the same vacuum. Mine isn't for sale but I'm trying to get mine fixed up too. I bought it mainly as a practice dummy to learn polishing and motor repair on.

Yes, the belts and brush rolls used on most 501s and the early Dirt Devil hand vacuums are interchangeable.
