Looking for a new royal prince brush roll for a model 501. Any help is greatly appreciated

The same brush roll (and belt) was used in the original Dirt Devil hand vacs from the '80s and '90s (models 103, 500, 503, 513, 523, etc.), but still I wish you luck. Otherwise, you could send your existing brush roll (if your machine still has it) to Don O'Connor (of Youngstown, OH) to be given new bristles.
