Yesterday I was happy to obtain a vacuum I had been wanting. It was an older Craigslist ad that somehow never came up on a search for vacuum cleaners. Found it by typing in just "Vacuum".

Long story short, caught this lady just before she was heading out for Spring Break. I think she is an Teacher.

Anyhow and long story short, this unit is in great shape. I did have to make a repair to one of the wheels under the PN. Otherwise it sounds great, super good suction, all the parts are there, and came with gobs of new bags. If that wasn't enough, I found in my stash, two more packages of bags containing 7 bags and 1 filter each. I forgot I found them at GW months ago for $1.99 each.

I will try to put up pictures this weekend.

You shouldLove it,

I really like mine, I have 2, one is a all chrome 1963 model and one is a 80 something with the power nozzle.

Chrome one sounds wonderful. I am looking for a spare cloth dust bag, maybe a non-electric hose (only have eletric), wands and whatever attachments I can snag before they become scarce.

Right now the cloth bag is drying, can't wait till it dries so I can try the vacuum out.

I have already wiped down the entire body getting all possible nooks and crannies using my damp cloth and a bamboo chopstick (to push the cloth into tight spots). Will do the hose when I return from errands today.

I like the look, the color and mostly the condition.
