Royal 9700 Brush Roll Part Number?

Anybody know the original part number for the 9700 magnet brush roll?

Since they are seemingly impossible to find, Is it true that a non-magnet 14 inch square ended brush roll would work and be compatible without interference to the spinning? Is that a feasible option if one does not care about the brush roll indicator? Wondering what part number that would be.

Need square Endcaps or adaptor for conversion

I will call them to see if they have any left of the square end caps. In hindsight I should have waited for a 9700 that took hex end caps instead.

I am quite sure that the brushroll you found - 


PART #4202673274000


 


will work fine in your 9700. The BPI will not light up though.

As I said earlier, the original square-end brush roll with BSI (brush speed indicator) was part #2802259000. I wish you luck finding that one.
