Royal 501 Brush Roll

I have searched and searched but cannot find a replacement for the brush roll on a Royal 501 hand vacuum.

Any suggestions?

Apparently, they're no longer made and it's been long enough that most vendors have sold out of their remaining stock. I guess demand isn't sufficient for a third party to step in and offer a generic version. Or maybe the present owners of the Royal brand are preventing that for some reason. Still, it's always possible that a repair shop somewhere might have one stashed away, but good luck finding it. And if you find two, let me know.

The part number you are looking at is 2-050221-000. They are also used in the early "Dirt Devil" hand vacs (models 103, 500, 503, etc.).

Thanks guys for the info.......KirbyIII, I tried the Spare Saver USA but for some reason I simply cannot get through their checkout screens........it freezes up after I select my shipping and billing addresses.

I have sent an email to them asking why I cannot get their ordering screen to work properly. Never had this happen before at any site.
