Ben Its great , now I want one for myself LOL funny hing is just after I fixed it a customer came looking for bags for one, what is ironic is that the two customers , the one that owns this one and the one looking for bags for his stay 6 houses apart.

This one belongs to our Local speed cop LOL I should have charged hime extra for all my tickets but he is a nice guy

I was trying to figure out where i heard the name before, and now you mentioned the Iron's and thats where I heard it!!!

I remember the Rowenta Irons in the stores. Never seen any of the vacuums before.

Hi Ryan

Thats the one they were most famous for in SA,

Ben yes I remember my mom having Rowenta Irons, They were the first to have the detachable water tank on there irons In SA

Rowenta has been bought up by the same company who now own Tefal (Calor) . Both Tefal and Rowenta were infamous in the UK for selling top-quality irons. Although both manufacturers made a range of irons with standard aluminium sole plates, their signature sole plate was stainless-steel for Rowenta and ceramic for Tefal. The lift-out water tank on the Rowenta was a really good idea, but it didn't seem to catch on with the public in such a way that it became widespread across all brands.

The last Rowenta Wet & Dry vacuum cleaner I saw on sale here was in 1997. Towards the Millennium they bought out a couple of cylinder vacs with triangular shaped cleaning heads. They were advertised widely on television, but I'm sure they were poor sellers. The name Rowenta has all but disappeared altogether in the UK.
