Roomba Reset

I thought this was interesting my roomba has been running poorly lately and this is probably why.

I got one brand new for free, but now when you use it, it runs for 2 seconds then shuts off and says the battery is dead. new battery?

I did not mean to post here btw. But have you tried the reset in this video it worked for mine.
