Ben,
You mean to say a white attachment suitcase was planned but not released?
I never did like the Kirby Kaddy as it looks big and cumbersome. I also like the tools hidden from view and not collecting dust themselves. The suitcase could have been nicer if there was a better latch, but I like the cardboard one the best, sans the snap. I prefer its slim profile and small footprint.

Tim,
No problem - take your time and take lots of pictures as you go. Have you rebuilt a Kirby before? If not take a look at my recent 'Kirby repair and restoration tips' thread. It is based on my Tradition & Omega so it might help you as well.
Those attachments are quite dirty but you will be amazed at how well they clean up. I washed mine all outside with simple green and some brushes. Even the well used ones look nice!
It appears you have the correct buffer head on it. Is that a console stereo behind the two vacs?

So looks like UPS struck again. I knew it couldn't have been USPS because when they loose a package, it is usually gone forever...

Back Stock

Ben-

I'd be satisfied with a small bit of overstock being used in the making of my machine. Lol.

Ron-

Yes, indeed I have rebuilt two Kirbys before, and lightly restored the Heritage pictured with the Tradition in the picture above. I rebuilt a Heritage II/Legend and a G4 for a friend of mine. I'll post a few pics of these Kirbys below. Nevertheless, your "Rebuild Tips and Tricks" will likely come in handy. (It's possible it may have anyways when I rebuilt the G4, as that was my very first one, and I wasn't sure on a few things, and that is how I first discovered VacuumLand.)

I was actually considering Simple Green to clean them, so if you have actually experienced cleaning with them and they came out good with it, then you have solidified my decision!

And yes! It is a Console Sterio! It is a 1976 AM/FM Phono/8-Track. What incredible bass it has, especially playing from the record player. It hasn't been used in awhile, but I'm sure it still works fine. Thanks for noticing!

Pic 1 is the only picture I have of the G4. Completely restored from the ground up. (What a doozie it was.)
Pic 2 is the UN restored Heritage II.
Pic 3 has the H2 showing off its newfound glimmer!
Pic 4 is both Heritage models after their individual polishing. Pretty, shiny Kirbys.
