road trip thrift store find, 12amp fantom thunder...snuck it into hotel room

found this on a thrift store based road trip in Michigan...its far from perfect but it was 20 bucks and the motor sounds decent...I have 2 Furys at my house both have dead motors but are cosmetically perfect...at least now i have a usable Fantom...

How hard is it to get the motor out and have a vac shop replace the bearings and brushes?

umm I'm not to Shure i always buy vacs that don't need work, besides cleaning...so just take it directly to the shop instead of removing parts themselves
