RICCAR VIBRANCE DELUXE SQUEAKY BELT

Hey guys... just wondering why does my Vibrance belt squeak when im vacuuming.. i already replaced it with a new belt.. and was quiet about a week and then started noticing the sqeaky noise again last night...

Is my carpet too thick perhaps? I have a high pile thick carpet...

Depends on what machine you have, is this one with the newer permanent belt or is it one that uses a stretch belt? On machines with a stretch belt they tend to squeak a bit on carpet that puts a heavier load on the brush, there's nothing you can really do about that. If you have a permanent belt model than I'd check to make sure nothings wrong.

Regular stretch belt

It's the regular vibrance with the strech belt.. Clutch but I Also made sure it was properly installed with the linkage rod..
Thanks for the input that's what I kinda figured there's nothing I could really do. It not a constant noise but when I go on top of an area rug or cross a threshold from bare floor to carpet is when I hear the sqeak.. Also if there are more fluffier sections of Carpet I hear it then too...
