Bought one of these for $8 with the usual scuffing, general filth, and the complaint that it "wasn't working right."
Well all things considered it's a miracle it worked as long as it did considering all the crap stuffed in the fill tube. THE ENTIRE LENGTH of the air path from sole plate to bag was packed with cue-ball sized spheres made of dust, dirt, and rug fibers. 6-8 of these things were sucked out with the help of my Hoover Dimension canister.
Now the only thing left to do is put some shrink tube on two cord nicks and she is good to go.
I was really flabbergasted at that clog though...
