After viewing a few of the new Instagram adds for Riccar, as they are advertising their new r27 as a luxury. I went on the Riccar website to see what their current lineup is and the pricing. I looked at the reviews for the now $1,899 Tandom Air, and the photos showed that the model plate no longer says where they are made. My Spirit also does not say where it is made, such an unfortunate downhill slide of a once good company. I know that the Tandom Air has always had reliability issues, but I think they may be phasing their flagship upright out. I have local dealer that only ever sold Riccar. The dealer has stopped selling Riccar and is now selling Hoover.
