The 8955 is one of the newer 8 Series. The motor on that one is a two stage and it's made by Tacony themselves.

Outside of color looks just like my 6255 Jet Flo from 89 I think? Still going strong, nothing has ever broken

Alright, I got the bag door off again and I found the date wheels for the plastic mold. It reads "2, 2, 2" on all of them. I am not sure if that means 1982 or 1992.
