Ricarr Brilliance or Ricarr Vibrance Premium

Anybody had any experience with either of these 2 models?
There is a price difference of about $160.00 and more than one Ricarr retailer seemed like they favored the Vibrance although the Brilliance is more expensive and has a 2 motor system.
I like the fact that they have a lot of metal parts and are assembled in the USA. They seem to have a much higher quality fit and finish compared to the big box Hoover, Eureka and even the Dysons.
In the demonstration, both machines really created quit a vibration of the rug surface.
The Vibrance almost seemed like improved Dail-A-Matic style machine but of course it was not belching dust back in my face and smelling ( it was new of course).
Any thoughts on the Ricarr's cleaning ability with the polished metal agitator and with brush strips that could be replaced.
The Vibrance seemed easier to handle but it has a floating head where the Brilliance had height adjustments.
Also like the fact that either machine could be fitted with a long attachment hose and floor brush.
Also looked at the Miele upright. It was very quiet but it has a heavy feel to it when in the operating position and it seems so bulky. Good machine but not right for me. I would also rather buy a product at least assembled in the USA.

I can't give a comparison, but I can tell you how much I like the Riccar Vibrance.  Duane Taylor, a co-host of the Milwaukee VCCC convention donated some machines and I won the Vibrance.  I now have it in my sewing room upstairs.   It is a wonderful machine.  I agree.  It has the best attributes of the Dial-A-Matic but totally up-to-date.  Moves beautifully and has great suction.  Looking forward to using it on my new Berber carpet being installed next week.  Should work well.

I have been pricing the machines. That was a VERY nice prize!!!!!
I think that is the top of the line machine. Wow

I stopped by a Simplicity dealer today and have to say I was impressed with the quality feel and look of the Simplicity machines. I would assume the Ricarr's are the same quality.

Where have I been all these years that I never used or looked at the Ricarr/Simplicity line. Even their lower tier machines looked so much better quality than any of the new Hoovers,Eureka's and Dyson's.

Buy the Maytag Mo2oR. It's the tandem air version. You'll love it. Call me when you're ready. You have a friend at the factory. You can pick it up when you visit.

Recarr Brilliance or Recarr Vibrance Premium

Thanks Tom. Now there is an idea.

What I learned yesterday at the Simplicity dealers about the differences were:

(1) Brilliance has a central air path vs the Variance suction at one end like the old Dail-A-Matic
(2) Brilliance has height adjustment vs Variance floating nozzle
(3) Brilliance had better attachment hose with aluminum wand
(4) Brilliance has a NO TIP design with the tool use. The guy pulled the hose out the full length and the machine DID NOT fall over like my Hoover and Dyson machines do when used with tools and still had very strong suction at hose end.
(5)Brilliance has their Tandom 2-motor set up but it was no louder than the Variance in use
(6) Brilliance has some type of LOADED spring in the handle so in the operating mode the machine does not have that HEAVY feel like so many of the modern uprights do today. This is real noticeable when I tried out the Miele upright and my Hoover Windtunnel upright. They feel like they are pulling your arm down.

All in all a very good demonstration. Both machines seemed to be very well built and like Miele your total cost will be determined by what model and features in the line you pick.
I can't believe I have never looked at or tired any Simplicity/Ricarr vacuums.
You can learn something new every day when it comes to vacuums and as you can see in Fred's picture they have very beautiful paint jobs!
I loved the Chestnut color of the Simplicity I saw yesterday.
I am sure I would be well pleased with either the Brilliance or Vibrance and the final choice would be how the machine it going to be used. In my case, the ease of tool use would be very important.
