Rexair shock???
Hi, I've owned several and have never received an electrical shock. If Rexair cleaners are used along with common sense there should never be such a problem. However, if you tip a water-type cleaner over, best course is to unplug it at the outlet before attempting to handle the machine.
The only problem I ever had with any kind of circuity comprise was when I unwittingly vacuumed up some powdered laundry detergent. I was using a Rainbow D2 at the time and it's motor began to sputter and stall from the foam it was sucking in. First, I unplugged the cleaner, then let it dry out. No damage done, lesson learned, the cleaner ran fine next use.
