Hello Michael,
Great buffed out 28. I buffed out a metal Eureka for the fun of it at the shop in the 70's and it looked impressive like your 28. I just bought a late Hoover 305 which I do not understand why no height adjustment and I know I never worked on one at the shop. I sort of only remember working on 27s and 28s. I am missing the bottom plate but it did not cost that much and could not pass it up.
Have fun and you sure have some good looking machines.
Thank you,
Pete

Hello Michael,
I figured it out that the 305 was the economy priced Hoover. The ad said it automatically would go from high to low carpet pile, that might be a stretch.
The castings on yours and model badge are different the the one I just got.
Anyway you have some good looking Hoovers.
Thank you,
Pete

About the model 61 (612)

Long time since my last conection here
I'm looking for a model 61 hood

If anyone has any idea how to help...

Hoover Model 61

I'm very jealous of your model 61. It is a model I have been trying to find for a while now. My grandmother had one when I was a child and I'd love to find one for myself.
