Hi All:
My first post on the vac site. Does anyone have bags or belts they would like to sell for a Regina RG3100? It's the yellow Sharp/Panasonic looking machine they sold before the company tanked. I got two of them at a closeout store a few years ago, not knowing parts would be NLA. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you Terry. It's good to be among friends. Thanks, Jeff. I'll check out that site. Thanks for the pic, too. I didn't know you had one of these!

Hey Bobby, great to see you over on this side. I thought I sent you some belts for that machine. I know the bags didn't work, but did you get the belts?

Andy, the belts are great. Yes I got them, but finding bags was a pain. Jeff sent a link for them that I was unable to find. When they come in I'll let everyone know how they are.

fast

Man those Regina's must have come and gone fast, I remember seeing one in a vac shop not too long ago, I had thought Regina was gone.
Hopefully the bags that I sent the link for will work.

It seems they were not made for very long. A vac shop owner told me that it was Regina's last ditch effort to stay afloat. I don't know how true that is, but the company tanked shortly after. For a modern day outsourced vac, it's better than most cheapies.

Glad to have you posting

Bobby,

Great to meet you at convention and now have you on this site to banter with. The picture of the Regina Jeff posted looks alot like a Panasonic upright. Not sure how the bag port is configured but wondering if a Riccar/Panasonic bag might work.

Just a thought.....

Pat, it was good to meet you, too. The Panasonic bag diameter is too large. The bag would be loose on the collar. Turbo, do you have any pics? Did they look identical?

Piano god,
I can't believe you found these bags! They are the originals, and very good quality. Every vac shop I ever went to said they can't be ordered and nothing else could be substituted. You ARE a God! I can't thank you enough. BTW, I assume you play piano?
Bobby

Thanks for sharing info on the bags, piano god. The musicians are watching out for each other. I'm not a pianist, but one of the lowly church organists in the club.
