vintage vacuums

HI Erik What a good idear. Well to begin i guess i am on the vintage side of life 63. To begin with the vintage vacuums are for the most part a work of art, whats better than seeing a Kirby 500 series( I would love to get a 505 with the black and red bag)All shined up and looking pretty. Also a Royal, old GE. The Singer upright from i think 1958. In my years i have seen vacuums go from works of art to works of trash plastic all the way. I could go on but will not. I am off to use my Kirby Dual 80 Doug

I Agree!!

I've owned several new vacuums and they can't compare to these oldies!! These old ones are built and perform better!!Plus in my opinion they are easier to work on. Even though parts are sometimes hard to find.
