Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted a thread on here, I've kind of fallen behind, and I've got a ton of new vacs in the past few months.

My idea for this thread is to post photos of your rarest Numatic, I have a few rare Numatics, but I've selected 2 or my rarest, which I will picture below.

Very nice Joe - that 1979 model looks immaculate - where's it been all these years?

What happened to the Pifco Car Vac? - I see you got rid of it :-(

Steve, that NV200 came from Ryan (ry_ry87), it's been well looked after. The Pifco was given to Jacob (Suction selector), and the crevice tool that came with it went to George (dysondestijl) lol.

That Numatic Turbovac belongs to Matt, and it's very nice indeed. Do you still have it, Matt?

I wouldn't say the Henry Turbo is rare TBH.

Tayyab, it certainly is rare! It's a shame you didn't get it!

Joe

I had a sneaky feeling it may have been Ryan's - Its the only time I'd seen one before on his Youtube video.

Whats happened to him anyway - he never posts any more - has he sold his collection? Or just to busy with his policing?

He still has his collection, he's not been very active here on VL, but I've spoken to him on facebook. He still has his Henry from 1990 that he owned since brand new, and quite a few other nice machines. :)

Well Tayyab, I've only ever seen 1, so it could well be one of the rarest!

Rarest...

My guess for the title of "rarest" would be the Wendy. I don't know anyone who has one and I haven't ever seen one in person. The Nuvac's are pretty rare too, as are the very first style George from 1990.

rarest numatic

been on here a while but never bothered to comment on anything but thought when you ask for rare numatics id best mention my nv-2 I believe its the 2nd machine numatic ever made and is in immaculate condition I haven't got a pic of it at mo but will try and sort 1 just its buried in bottom of cupboard at the moment. but here is a video of an identical one. (just a lot more battered than mine.

will try and get some pics of it sorted soon

Jackman, you have an NV-2? You're so lucky! I'd kill for one of those!

I'd love to see a pic too, if you ever want to sell it, keep me in mind ;)

Ryan, I love that James you had, did it end up going to another collector?
That Swift is nice too, they're getting very rare now.

nv2

yes will sort some out cause that video doesn't show what they look like very well. its a lot smaller than they seem in the video. its a tiny little thing only about as round as bucket. a lot smaller than an henry. everything is pretty much the same though. same filter design. same hose fitment on machine, doubt I will ever sell it though. its missing the original wand though whats a shame but the hose is original.

Sorry for the delayed reply - Yes I still have the TurboVac... haven't touched it since taking a few pics of it when I first acquired it....

Its one of those things that's on the 'to do' list....

This is interesting. the turbo vac looks like a beta version of the sebo felix. Has the same basic design and principles. Also, today, its interesting to see that Numatic Germany sell sebo G series uprights branded "numatic', I wonder if there is some sort of tie up between the two companies? They both specialise in the same sort of cleaners - industrial and semi commercial I guess ?
