rainbow vacuum problem

i have a rainbow d4 se and the top of the separator is rubbing on the vacuum,any advice.

That is odd the only thing I can think of is the nut is over tighened. Or the wrong seperator?wich I doubt,orrr the shaft got bent somehow.
