I keep hearing mixed reports on their current version of the Deodorizer and Air Freshener. Did they remove the triethylene glycol from it or not? The reason I'm interested in this is that I not only like the smell of the product, but I like the disinfection properties of it too, with pets in the house you sometimes may get something in the waterman that is kinda gross (maybe just my obsession with cleaning and sanitizing talking) and the idea that germs and bacteria are being killed in the water is appealing to me.

The alcohol and triethylene glycol were removed from the D and A making it less caustic. This wasn't done by the engineering department, but by the legal department. That's why the fragrances were changed to water based now as well. Less liability for the company.
