I don't know, but I don't think so.....
Thank GOD it was clean water.........I "almost" did the same thing once but caught myself.
Make sure to rinse the hepa and shake all the water out really good, then put the hepa back on the machine, and turn it on high and let the machine run for 20 to 30 minutes and the hepa will be dry as a bone and probably everything else that got water in it (hopefully). I think the motor is protected somehow by water......and I think all the metal parts are stainless? Not sure.
I've told this story before. But before I purchased the 14 foot non electric hose, I was using the standard hose to get a really high place, holding the rainbow and the wand cleaning up high while I was on a ladder. I lost my balance and fell and landed on the floor with the rainbow running...I took the brunt of the fall. Nothing broke and water didn't leak or get into anything luckily.
