Rainbow D4 Power Nozzle question

I happened to find another D4 SE today for cheap. It has the PN 1 rectangular shaped nozzle. When I removed the brush roll three washers fell out. Are there supposed to be two or one washer(s) on each side? I checked my other rainbow PN and it only had one washer on each side.

This is the rectangular shaped PN with sleeve bearings and rubber inserts that fit onto the outsides of the bearing.
