Hi guys and girls, just joined the forum. My names Ryan (aka U5096 on Youtube) really into my UK Commercial vacuums like Sebo's, Numatics, Ensign etc but i've owned most stuff over the years. Look forward to chatting!

Hi

Hello & welcome

I've recently just arrived on here too.

Glad to hear there's another Numatic fan !

Welcome aboard, Ryan!

Glad to see you here. I'm also on YouTube, where I'm known as "tazcatsdad" (same as here). And I still have the Mitsubishi hoover that I bought from you on eBay!

Is it easy to send things to America from the UK? I only ever did it once and the buyer organised it all really. I had to send the goods to a company based in Dover and it was all done from there. But I had no other part to play. Only I have a relative visiting the U S A for six months and it would be good to send her a parcel or two during this time.

again I sent it to a third party person who passed it on to Bill so not too sure lol don't think its that difficult?

"Mitsubishi hoover" I wasn't aware there was such a thing! I knew Mitsubishi turned their hand to computers, televisions, cassette tapes and the like, but not Vacuum Cleaners!

Back in... Ooh, 2008 it must have been, I ordered an old Gateway laptop from America via eBay.

I didn't have anything to do with the transit of the parcel, but it did take a very long time to arrive, I remember that much!

it was a random one I must say, had a really nice National Panasonic from the same era too, both rare in this country

Hey, you never know, I may see something like that when I go into the recycling store tomorrow morning with my measly £9, ha ha.

If I buy a Vacuum Cleaner, Vacuum Land will be the first to know! Keep an eye out for a new thread.

Well I did go into the recycling store but all they had was a Vax tub and a HOOVER Aqua something or other...

HOWEVER - He did say he had a bunch of uprights which he'd be PAT testing soon so I could come back this afternoon and there was an older model he'd give me for £9. I didn't ask what make or model it was, but I'll go down in a couple of hours and take a look and probably buy it... Unless it is a Purepower of course, ha ha.

just won a Miele S4711 Graphite on ebay for £19, bargain! says it's cutting out so it'l probably need a good service and new batteries for the remote hose
