There is an electrolux B2280 'the boss' going on amazon for 69.99 and i know the B2280 the boss is not a recent model so when i searched bagged upright vacuum cleaner on amazon and scrolled a few pages down i was suprised to see a suplier was selling them for 69.99. my question is how are these selling brand new when the electrolux the boss is an obsolete discontinued model. are they factory left overs or something? i own an electrolux z2274 and i know that is pretty old and they are similar machines. i often search amazon and this cleaner has only just came on to the website. please just leave me your opinions?

Yeah they will be old stock left over. There's a shop near me which is selling an old stock Dyson DC01.

This kind of Electrolux can still be sold in the UK given that it is a 1400 watt model anyway., so its still eco efficient for the moment but forget about EU energy labels.

The B model you mention might be better to push. My neighbour has the Z2274 upright - I find it far too heavy to push in general.
