I do believe this is my first time posting after reading for over 10 years. I have an Aerus store just down the road from me. The last time I went there they had a sign "Will be back in 10 minutes". I haven't been back since. My question to the dealers and professionals is: What is the average cost of a new Lux Classic? I am interested because we have a 5000 square foot house and I have all of the upstairs needs covered. The downstairs is what I wan't the classic for. Our downstairs consists of the "Theater", bar, bathroom, and the room for my adorable bunnys. I want the Classic because quite frankly I don't need something as high end as the Platinum. I just need a basic fantastic vacuum. I have been using my Kirby G4 and it takes me 45-60 minutes just to vacuum the downstairs. The ENTIRE downstairs is wall-to-wall carpeting. I am pretty set on the Classic. Any prices would be GREATLY appreciated :)

The Aerus Classic can be purchased for $799.00 or less tell them thats all you want to spend .Tell them also you would like bags thrown in and some after filters. I have paid less for a classic but I buy many units for friends and relatives .

Perfect canisters although a copy of Aerus I hear many people have problems with them plus they are made in China and Aerus is made in the USA .

You might even be able to get the Aerus Guardian Ultra at a great price since they are replaced by the Platinum.
