Is it true that your Classic III, that you used along with your Heritage II to vacuum this couch, had its motor re-wired to run on the lower speed only?

Is hardwired. He hits power turns on with no pause.

That answered my question! I knew it had to be hardwired because usually with the hose attached, the cleaner would have the much higher speed triggered.
