I got my great uncle and aunt's Singer Golden Glide canister and their Singer Golden PowerMaster upright and I have a few questions.
1. Are these cleaners rare?
2. When were they made?
3. What colors did they come in?
The Golden PowerMaster is pale green with an ivory colored metal base and a fake wood grain plate on the front of the cordwinder at the base of the A frame handle. The Golden Glide canister is cream with a white retractable hose, a brown retractabe cord, a fake wood top and all of the attachments. Both cleaners are all original down to the plugs.
Back before the original company closed down my Great Uncle Pete(RIP) worked for Singer selling and servicing vacuum cleaners. Because of this both cleaner run like the day they were made. My Great Aunt Mary(RIP)never ran into anything with thes machines so there are almost no marks on either of them. Thanks in advance for any info!

I'm this close to squealing!

Matt, is the Golden Glide a model C-10 by any chance? My Grandnother had one of those in the 70's and have been looking for one forever.

The Golden Powermaster is probably model U 49A? Does it have a ivory/green floral print square topped bag?

These were made in the mid to late 70's. Say 1975 to 1977, I think!

Please take pictures of the Golden Glide if you can?

Marty
