Excellent newsletter! Found mine this morning in the spam folder for some reason, lol. Thanks Jay and to all who contributed! It was a great convention, it was smooth, relaxed, and full of fun. Looking forward to the next one!

Good evening everyone,

If you have note received your newsletter please check your spam file. The email will be coming from [email protected].

I have received some back for bad addresses and others for file to large.

Please email me at [email protected]. I will follow up and try to resend. If we have a bad address which is entirely possible we can fix that. If it is returned because the file is to large, I will see if we can find a different way to send it.

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm  from the comments of those who have received it, it sounds AWESOME!!!!</span>

I do hope!

The fact we are getting it thru email, has no bearing on getting the hard copy, I believe the newsletter is the clubs most important product, without a paper copy...Well, I do not want to consider that could be a possibility.

Newsletter

I hope is going to come in a hard copy too. I save all of the newsletters. I don't have any room on my computer to store copies of the newsletters...

We are not sending out hard copies so if you have not received it by email please let us know.

You can print the newsletter yourself or send it to you local printer and have them print it for you.

Thanks

Morgan

Newsletter

Morgan,
I did not receive the newsletter to my email address. I know my ISP has limitations on the size of a file that you can send and/or receive. I am sure a PDF file is extremely large. I too am upset that the newsletter is not in printed form and mailed to our home. Perhaps you could talk with Robert to see if he can post it to the Automatic Ephemera and charge a fee for it. At least that way we could download and have a PDF file.
Thanks, Bob.

It is a lot of work getting a newsletter ready for mailing.

Plus the cost of printing and mailing keep going up.

I don't have the time anymore to take an entire day to prepare the newsletter for mailing not to mention the trips to the printer, post office..ect.

Most club do not print a physical newsletter any longer. Most have gone to an electronic formate several years ago. Our church sends out a bi monthly newsletter electronically...our members who receive the mailed version..are always complaining because it is in black and white and takes almost a week long to receive it.

If someone wants to step up to the plate and do the extra work that is fine. However, I no longer want paper coming to my house. In an effort to go green, I have very little come by mail any more. The daily newspaper is done online.

Once upon a time, I was a member of the VCCC and it's first elected President (for six years). We spent EVERY DIME of the collected dues on printing and mailing newsletters. We started each year 'fresh' (no money in the treasury). It was part of the by-laws, voted upon by ALL the members. You're right Hans, if there's no newsletter, what are dues for and what are they spent on?
