If you're referring to this style of machine, the ProLux was the commercial version of the Electrolux Discovery style upright of the late 80s through the late 90s.

There are some newer machines with the Prolux name that look kind of like current Royal canisters. I'm not sure if TTI makes those or not.

This Prolux brand is hard to find where or who the owners are. They are taking a name that people knew under the Electrolux brand and hoping to make a bunch of sales with it. I do know Prolux was a trademark for that model and wondered if it is being infringed upon.

Great Vacs in West Jordan Utah owns the name and designs... as for who manufactures them, Dust Care is the most likely suspect for the canister and definite for the uprights.[this post was last edited: 6/1/2014-17:59]
