I'd want to know to

but the thing is, with these, you're not really saving much money over the original. These are almost as much as the OEM.

Hi Mark,

But isn't it the only option to turn a Sirena into a carpet cleaner. Sure Rainbow offers a carpet cleaner, but you have to provide referrals to get it if I understand correctly.

I'd rather pay $200 for a carpet cleaner than give up my friend's names as referrals.

If I remember correctly, you can purchase it outright with Rainbow, or you can give leads/names to the representative to 'get' one for free.

It looks alike a straight copy, with minor styling differentiations from the Rainbow unit. I bet they function the same.

OK

so say you bought this to use with Sirena or Quantum vac or whatever...The electric rainbow hoses can be used for wet pick up (at least later models) I'm not sure Sirena has an electric hose for wet pick up unless they've changed and their electric hoses can now be used for wet pick up. I know my model Sirena has a wet/dry non-electric hose, and then the electric hose. If I bought that for my Sirena, I couldn't use the electric hose to pick up water so it wouldn't work.

Ahhh

I can see that working....I'm just trying to imagine it because I'm so used to my aquamate using the electric hose and pulling the trigger when I want to start or stop. I guess that would be on the machine itself. I just used my Aquamate the other day to do my halls.

It includes the telescopic wand and handle with the cord. It looks like there are controls in the handle. If you look at my second link, you can download the user manual with nice pictures (and a nice comic about reading user manuals).
