Actually, Samuel, that would be a reason NOT to buy this Ocean Blue vacuum.
Prolux is one of the in-house brands of a online company called Great Vacs. They sell thru their website, Ebay, & certain online retailers like Walmart & Overstock. You can also tell they are responsible for it by how the tools are laid out, the Stair Pro mini powerhead & the Kirby-style shampoo sprayer that's included, those are typical attachments their vacuums come with in their listings.
One thing I noticed rather interesting about that shampooer, too, is when you look at the other images for it, they include a separate wand & hose handle with a switch. Yet there is no separate cord with it to supply power to the hose handle, & the second hose looks to be just a ordinary straight suction hose. And I am surprised they are able to make it without getting into legal trouble with Rexair, that Prolux carpet extractor attachment looks a LOT like the present Rainbow Aquamate carpet extractor, the one that came with the E2 Blue & still used wands with the cord on the outside.
Great Vacs is NOT a reputable company, & best avoided. Back in 2008, my ex had the misfortune of dealing with them & buying a refurbished Dyson DC07 that was pictured with it's original tools, but instead came with aftermarket tools, & also the cleaner head had a torn internal hose. So much for being "refurbished". Plus, this Ocean Blue vacuum looks pretty cheap & downright tacky compared to the Quantum, look at the quality of the hoses & the powerhead. I think there are better choices out there to say the least.
