Hi this is my vintage hoover collection, consisting a 1934 hoover 800 an early hoover dustette polished aluminium and a hoover 825 from 1936 . I would love to collect more vintage Hoovers from the pre war period but room is not available in my house , I might stretch to a hoover 160 but that has to be it im afraid due to lack of space.

The hoover 800 is my absolute fave and I will never part with it. These machines a quality items, and ooze art Deco styling which I love the uprights kind of remind me of the flash Gordon period.

They actually clean better than my new hoover pet smart made of plastic , lol I doubt that will be around in 80 years time. The vintage machines I have are very cleverly designed in the fact theirs not one part can not be replaced. Unlike the the through away mentality we have today .

I must say with the beata bar it really does lift the pile on my carpet and you can feel the vibration on the carpet of these machines beating the carpet. I don't use my machines very often as I wish to preserve their futures!!.But they do get used once a month each .

Today these machines would cost a fortune to make .their engineering is brilliant and the test of time has proved so

Gorgeous!

I Have to say your cleaners are stunning, both in choice and condition, including the bags! It's as if they came from a time capsule! They also represent my favorite period of Hoover's manufacturing; particularly from 1916 to 1938 but continuing through 1956 which, all included, strikes me as Hoover's true 'Hay-days'

Congratulations on acquiring and/or restoring such impressive (and wonderful) pristine machines!

So appreciative that you demonstrated them!

More than just pics, it's such a cool thing to be able to hear the motors, see the bag inflate, look at the gorgeous details like the little red Hoover (bakelite?) emblem above the light that is illuminated...

What a treat!

You really know how to maintain and show these vintage masterpieces!  Bravo.

Thank you!!
