I always make home made things to bring with me.

I believe I'll be making spaghetti sauce with meatballs,  Irish soda bread, and, of course,  cookies.  I'll no doubt make a few pitchers of iced tea as well.

It will be great to visit again  to see great friends and celebrate Hoover's 115 th birthday.

Leaving later today.

Only a very few things are coming home with me.one is a portapower with wheels, some bags, a concept two electronic. But, the big deal is....... a table that was used in the cafeteria of the Hoover factory. With the legs off, Tom was amazed that it fit in my little Chevy. More later.

Well, made it home easily....5.5 hots. I'll post more p

One night, I visited Tom's attic! Very hot up there. Plus, we were once again, in the Hoover Factory buildings. We even ate lunch there so much of the International Building is perfectly intact. The old part is gutted. We also learned that Bag Plant 2 was recently demolished! We talked to the guy who handled it. Sad

I've decided that I'm

going to refinish the table from the Hoover Co cafeteria.  It had been painted black gloss.  I saw this when we put it in my car (it FIT!). The original finish is still on the legs where it attaches .  I think this will be a great item in my collection.  It will grace the "gallery", when all is finished.

Just think,

a week ago, I there in the "Holy Land". Sat, we ere running Will's Dial A Matic and Brady Bunch machine.... on his shag carpet!

Fun times, indeed. Wish I were back there now. The weather was perfect, no rain.  A great day to wear Hoover shirts, and, maybe even pink shorts.  Takes a real man to wear pink. ....and not to give a darn. :)
