There is a HEPA Type U bag available for the Aerus Electrolux uprights available from JohnnyVac, a vac parts distributor in Quebec. I use the JohnnyVac brand HEPA Type C bag in my Electrolux Grand Marquise, they are the best bag you can use in a Aerus Electrolux vacuum. There is NO dust at all in the bag chamber, & you can pack the bags right to the brim & still have lots of suction. I did see one of the Perfect Type C HEPA bags when I was thinking of buying a Perfect C101 back a couple of years ago....although they are good quality, the JohnnyVac bags are slightly better materials used & are also easier to find & buy here in Canada.

Here is a link to the bags on the JohnnyVac website. You would probably have to order from a dealer in Canada & have them shipped, however they do say under the dealer locator for Canada that for USA to contact them at [email protected], so perhaps they may have some American dealers too.

Thanks!!! I also found that evacuumstore.com has something very similar and may try those as well.

they are nice bags. and that improved air flow will continue right up until the bag becomes a brick.

Even out here in the desert, where we have talcum powder dust, suction doesn't drop off until about 95% full, and even then the drop is modest. The 4 ply Aerus bags drop off at about 70%, and the enviro-care micro lined bags just slightly worse and both are very noticeable and performance degrades very quickly. I use the Perfect bags almost exclusively, but do use the other 2 to show the difference or for jobs that i don't want to leave in the bag. I don't feel bad throwing out a micro lined after one quick pass through a room since I can get those for about $0.25 vs. $2.00+ for the others.
