my two new power nozzles and electric hose canisters

Hey everyone, so been doing a bit of experimenting this morning, connecting my new Wessel Werk EBK340 and Lindhaus PB14pro to my canister vacuums with electric hoses. I remember reading a message in a previous thread where someone was wondering if they could use a different power nozzle for their Panasonic mc-cg902 than what came with it, and yes, this is definitely possible with these universal power heads. I am notcing a big difference with the cords on these two nozzles though. The Lindhaus design is better by far. With the Lindhaus, the cord reaches right up to the top of the electric hose, just plug it in and it works great. The wessel Werk's cord is coiled, and does not even reach to the top of the hose. So, you have to either lower the telescopic wand you are using, or use a direct connect wand and plug the cord in to that. For the connectiion, the Lindhaus nozzle is much better. Not sure what the idea is behind the coiled cord on the ebk 340, but it was a bad idea.

another power head

I did go ahead and order another universal power head, the sebo et 14 with the central vacuum adapter. Does anyone know how to install the adapter? I'm assuming it just fits over the end of the neck of the power head. I know there is some debate as to whether a 12 or 14 inch power nozzle is better. The 14 inch covers a larger area, but some think the 12 inch models have better air flow. In the end, it probably doesn't make a huge difference.

got my Sebo power head, nice!

I really like this power head. It's quiet, and it will light up if your brush is set too high. I actually get this mixed up with the Lindhaus power nozzle, which lights up if the brush is set too low, though I almost think this isn't needed. If the setting is too low, the nozzle will be hard to push so it will be obvious. The central vacuum adapter was easy to install, it just goes in to the power nozzle and mates with the connector. It then provides a pig tail cord that connects to your electric hose. One interesting thing about the adapter, it has two screws that you are supposed to loosen to insert the wand, I'm not sure what the screws actually do though.

I have the Stealth power nozzle (Lindhaus PB14).

The new wands have integrated power, and the Stealth power heads now come with shorter cords.

On these power nozzles, the cord is easily changed due to the design. Near the elbow is a coverthat is removed with two screws. the wire to to wand just connects to a small powerblock. Each wire is held down with a small screw.

You can even change it to an electrolux style cord if you want.

I have used my Stealth with my central vac, and my Electroluxes. I just jammed the pigtail into the Electrolux sheath and it work fine.

lindhaus cord

The lindhaus I have has a cord, probably around 3 feet coming out of it with a two prong connector at the end. This allows it to plug directly in to your hose, removing the need for any cord management wands. I actually wish someone would come up with something similar to the Sebo adapter for a Wessel Werk ebk 360. That power head does not have a corded version, only direct. It would be nice if there were an adapter to convert that to pig tail.
