Rainbow and the Fantom Thunder.

While some other Fantoms were lackluster the Thunder (domestic, Vectron as well) were a tank of a vacuum.

id say

The Bissels clear-view bag less plus i had fora while was actually a good vac.
Of course if i were to get a bag less id go vintage whit filter queen or Rainbow

Ultra active is great.
I had one years ago. I should never sold it. Later I bought UltraFlex and it was very good also. Powerful quiet and very nice to use.
Too bad I just sold it to my niece.

Yeah I have sold way too many nice vacuums. Although all those wouldn't fit in to my apartment anymore. Selling the Electrolux Ultra Active / Ultra Performer was a big mistake. It had massive 2100 watt motor. EU has now the new rules what prohibit from making more than 900 watt vacuums.

the Quantum

the Quantum is an awesome water vac, costs $500 in the United States and cleans every bit as well as water vacs costing 4 or 5 times that price, and it actually does one thing better than the Rainbow. With the current model Rainbow, when you fill up to the center post, the separator is not actually in the water so there is a gap before what you vacuum up hits the water. The Quantum actually holds more water and the vacuumed debris goes directly in to the water because the separator is always in contact with the water. Don't get me wrong, I like my Rainbow but Rexair could learn from the designs of some of the other water machines.

electromatik
It's the powerhead light. Ph is the old (EU only) small ph. Now we have the full size Electrolux Paragon ph.

Update: Not too long ago, I added to my bagless lineup a Fantom Cyclone XT. If the Thunder was good, the Cyclone XT is superb. It is a marked improvement over the Thunder. One can tell that Fantom really took the initiative to correct all that was annoying about the Thunder and make it not only more pleasant to use, but also a ton more convenient to service.

I am keeping an eye out for a Lightning and a Fury to complete my Fantom collection.

My favorite is now AEG / Electrolux Precision.
It has massive airflow for a bagless vacuum (76 cfm from the nozzle), dual cyclone system keeps the pre motor filter clean a very long time.
Manual height adjustment + very long cable and hose. Fully sealed hepa filtration.

For those who say:

Bags are Best. Well, except when they're not. Bagless vacuums can last decades. The world's first bagless vacuum that doesn't lose suction (Rexair model A) is close to a century old.

Tolivac,exceedingly true

Comment, I’d bet it’s unusual owner, who is NOT a collector/afficiendado, who actually takes care of their vacuum , they are NOT the norm
