Plastic fans for Royal metal vacs

Does anybody know if you can replace a metal fan for a plastic fan on Royal vacuums? For example, model 606? Thanks.

As far as I know, no.

The original metal impeller fan that was used on your machine was part no. 1-053004-000, which had a 7/32" diameter shaft hole.
